‘An American With A Remington’ – By Larry Gatlin and Billy Dean

If you’re outraged and disgusted by the ISIS terrorists beheading American citizens on camera, then you’re not alone. The question is what to do about it.

Last week, while sitting backstage at The Starlite Theatre in Branson, Missouri, country singer-songwriters Larry Gatlin and Billy Dean were thinking the same thing. Then, the wise words of the legendary Johnny Cash popped into Larry’s head:

“Pilgrim, if something makes you mad enough, boy, you’ll damn sure write a song about it.”

Well, that’s exactly what Larry and Billy did. That night, they wrote a song called “An American with A Remington” in response to these ISIS heathens, and it’s pretty damn awesome.
