Time for a break from politics.
If you have been anywhere near a computer lately, then you have likely seen “10 Hours of Walking in NYC as a Woman,” a video created by non-profit group Hollaback! to raise awareness about the 497th worst crime in America: street harassment.
If you haven’t seen this wonderful video yet, you can check it out here.
Fortunately for our collective sanity, “Ten Hours of Princess Leia Walking in NYC” ended up striking people as a tad ridiculous and has now spawned countless parodies, such as:
- “3 Hours Of Harassment In NYC” (as a man)
- “10 Hours of Walking in NYC as a Man” (by Funny or Die)
- “5 Hours of Walking in NYC as a Jets Fan“
- “10 hours walking in Seattle as an Asian“
- “10 Hours of Walking in NYC as a Jew“
These versions are all good, and there are a ton more “10 Hours of Walking…” parodies that have cropped up over the last few weeks.
However, there is one parody video which puts all the others to shame, and it just launched today. From Panhandler Party Productions and their YouTube Channel Are We There Yet? comes “Ten Hours of Princess Leia Walking in NYC,” and it does not disappoint.
